Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, 35 CONCERTS was formed by Marc Engel and Phil Drayer to bring GREAT entertainment experiences to towns and cities throughout North America.
Phil Drayer, a Texas-based entrepreneur with an interest in family entertainment, founded Red Tail Entertainment, a producer of a wide range of spectacular live entertainment, including the Broadway hit A Night with Janis Joplin whose title performer, Mary Bridget Davies, was recently honored with a Tony Award Nomination. He is the lead producer for the interactive family show Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live which is currently touring North America, with plans for South America, Mexico and Asia. And, he is a member of the producing team of the national tour of Scooby Doo Live! Musical Mysteries.
Mr. Drayer has been a key player in the high technology industry for over thirty years and built two publically traded companies. He was named Top CEO by Morgan Stanley Ventures in Silicon Valley in 2000, and his second company was named one of Forbes Top 50 Best Run Companies in the U.S. Mr. Drayer’s philanthropic endeavors include twelve years of service on the Lamar University Foundation and the Engineering Advisory Council. The electrical engineering department at Lamar University bears his name.
Marc Engel is a performing arts veteran with over 25 years’ experience in the management and programming of theatres and performing arts centers. His career includes high profile management assignments in internationally recognized venues like Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, and the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. Over the last 10 years, Mr. Engel has promoted concerts in theatres and arenas in over 60 US Cities, in venues like the Holland Center in Omaha, the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Winspear Opera House in Dallas, Bass Concert Hall in Austin, Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, Jackson Hall and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, and the Murat in Indianapolis. Marc’s presenting history includes a wide range of shows and artists like Tony Bennett, the Beach Boys, Itzhak Perlman, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Bill Maher, Lily Tomlin, Alec Baldwin, Loretta Lynn, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, Kristin Chenoweth, Boston, Kansas, The Temptations, Steve Winwood, Jeff Foxworthy, David Byrne and many more.
35 Concerts has assembled a highly experienced team of production and marketing professionals who lend their expertise to shows as divergent as the one person stand-up act to an elaborate multi-truck concert tour.
